In this video, I share a little of a client's divorce journey with you. When Julia came to me, she and her husband wanted an amicable divorce. I encouraged her to interview three attorneys. However, she only interviewed one and decided that he was the attorney for her. Finding an attorney that you trust and have good repour with is a great thing. However, you still need to prepare for the unexpected. After her husband served her with the divorce papers, she contacted her attorney. Unfortunately, he didn't have the time for her and transitioned her to his less experienced associate attorney. She was panicked and devastated. The reason why I share this with you is because this is real life. I am hoping that someone will watch this and learn from my client's mistake.
